National Guidelines for Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B Virus
Ethiopia has been in directly implementing and optimizing their prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT) program since 2001. The 2021 version of these guidelines focus on eliminating HIV, Hepatitis B, and Syphilis in line with 2016 World Health Organization (WHO) goals to eliminate transmission of these diseases to newborns. This set of guidelines addresses triple elimination in Ethiopia.
