Experiencing gender-based violence (GBV) hinders access to and effective use of HIV prevention products by those who would benefit most from them, especially adolescent girls and young women. While the introduction of new PrEP products is an exciting development for HIV prevention programs worldwide, optimizing the impact of PrEP choice requires understanding how GBV affects the lives of potential PrEP users and ensuring PrEP programs are responsive to this reality. This webinar will offer valuable insights on steps that policymakers, implementing partners, and providers can take to support GBV survivors to choose and use a PrEP method that works for them, and build more person-centered and impactful PrEP programs.
